Sacramento...Averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds, six blocks, five steals
and three assists as a senior...Was also an All-American wide receiver
in high school, leading the nation with 28 touchdown catches his senior
season...Was considering an attempt to play in the NFL if training camp
invite with Warriors in 2006 was not successful...During his first
season with Golden State, was active in several community relations
programs...Visited the Oakland Children’s Hospital at Halloween
and also made a visit to Kaiser Hospital just prior to New
Year’s...Also took part in the Warriors Thanksgiving Food Serving
and various season ticket holder events...Has several tattoos,
including one on his neck that says Believe...Had a pair of praying
hands added to the Believe tattoo between Games 3 & 4 of 2007 First
Round Playoff series against Dallas.
COLLEGEPlayed 121 career games during four seasons at UCLA, averaging 8.8
ppg., 4.8 rpg. and 2.0 apg. in 22.6 minpg.…Became 43rd player in
school history to reach 1,000 career points and helped the Bruins reach
the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in each of his last three seasons…As a
senior (2001-02), averaged 13.5 ppg., 6.2 rpg. and a team-high 3.5
apg., while shooting .417 (43-103) from three-point range, which ranked
ninth in the Pac-10…Also ranked 10th in the conference in
assists…As a junior (2000-01), earned All-Pac-10 Honorable
Mention honors and received team award for outstanding play, after
averaging 11.6 ppg., 7.3 rpg., 2.7 apg. and 1.6 stlpg….Ranked
sixth in the conference in rebounding and steals.
