COLLEGEAfter his sophomore season at Maryland (1994-95), named National Collegiate Player of the Year by the Atlana Tip-Off Club,The Associated Press, United Press International, Basketball America and Eastern Basketball • Named First Team All-America by the AP, and ACC Player of the Year • Third sophomore to win ACC Player of the Year honors, joining Ralph Sampson and David Thompson • In his two seasons with the Terps, posted averages of 20.1 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 2.9 bpg and 1.0 apg in 64 contests.
